Suilven has stayed in the same general area and ranged over an area of 49 km² mainly between north-west and north-east of Kildermorie Lodge in East Ross.

Roxy continues to live in the same area of the Scottish borders and has recently extended her range to 11.4 km²

Ranging in Ross-shire

Reay continued to live in the hills between Kinlochewe and Loch Fannich until 6th June when she flew south and settled in remote country between Scardroy and Monar. On 13th she flew east and roosted on Scatwell Estate, just west of the new windfarm. On the 14th she continued north and was on the south slopes of Ben Dearg.

In the usual haunts

Fearnan was settled in the Cuaich area from 25th May to 14th June, with the exception of the flight north to Coignafearn and back on 6th – 7th June and a daytime flight southwest past Dalwhinnie and back on 8th June.

Settled at Coignafearn

107 remained ranging in Coignafearn throughout period to 15th of June, in an area of 24 km²

Coignafearn and then North over Loch Ness

106 stayed in the Monadhliaths until 31st May, when she made a small movement north to the hills just above Whitebridge. On June 5th she flew north across Loch Ness and spent the rest of the period on Balmacaan Estate north as far as Glen Urquhart.

Tongue to Crask

Canisp started the period in hills just east of Tongue and then on 28th of May flew SE to Rhifail and then roosted the night north of Loch Rimsdalee. Next day flew on past Loch Choire to an area north-east of the conifer forest  aast of the  Crask Inn where she ranged through to the 14th June.

Red 8T now fishing for a brood of chicks

Red 8T and his mate now have young – just one poor signal from his transmitter and that was near Rothiemurchus fishery which is one of his favourite fishing sites.

Ranging in Perthshire

Rothiemurchus has settled in Perthshire and has been visiting nests and fishing in an area of 200 square kms. His main focus has been to the north of Dunkeld and west to Grandtully on the River Tay. He has not yet settled at a nest nor found a mate.

Beatrice has hatched young

Beatrice has started to make a few local flights now that she has young, including a trip to the nearest loch at 6.5kms and back. Good weather for chicks so far.
