Transmitter starting to fail

Canisp’s transmitter not working well in poor weather and short days due to lack of sunshine, but one poor quality signal from hills west of Achfary

Ranging a bit more widely in Assynt area

Suilven mainly centered in Assynt but some further ranging to upper Oykell and south to Strathkanaird

Roxy ranging in an area of 82 square km south to Broad Law

Ranging up and down western mountains

Reay ranged in usual areas south from Ben Dearg to Loch Hourn, but also briefly further south to Culvain, norh of Glenfinnan

107 continues to range quite widely in south Caithness and NE Sutherland in an area of 400 square km south as far as the north side of Strathbrora

Loch Builg area

Calluna was at Glenfiddich and Ladder Hills to 21st November, when she flew south to Moven by midday and then west to the Loch Builg area. Stayed in this area with a return flight down to the Invercauld pine woods on 23rd/24th November

Very settled at wintering site

Rothiemurchus is very settled in centre of usual wintering site  – second half of November to 29th was within an area of only 0.24 square km

Flights to coast and back

Beatice has been taking flights to the coast or in the estuary of the River Guadiaro, otherwise in usual winter location

Flights from Lochinver and back

Suilven mainly in Assynt area, with flights Ben an Eoin north to Scourie and then back
