Storm's Stork In 2006 Roy Dennis carried out some pioneering fieldwork, in partnership with the regional office of The Nature Conservancy, on this endangered stork in the Bornean rain forests of East Kalimantan, Indonesia. He visited a site where the local staff had seen a pair of stork with two young in a small river inside the mature rain forest. He returned to the study area the following year with the intention of trying to satellite track one of the young. Unfortunately, despite intensive searches no young storks were located and the breeding pair had been unsuccessful.
