Two non-GPS class 1 locations came in for Angus 33 around 7.30pm on 3rd January from the Perthshire mountains north of the A9 and at the south end of the Drumochter Pass. This is the first big move outside its normal ranging. There were attempts at GPS locating on 2nd and 3rd, but all recorded low voltage, so the battery is starting to charge. This eaglet may be a female and I think the larger feathers on these bigger birds may obscure the solar panel more than on small sized male eagles.
