Red 8T got going in slightly better weather on 8th April. He left after 11am and passed to the east of Birmingham and at 7pm flew over the east of Manchester at 62 km/h north. He roosted for the night in trees just north of the Burnley Road, west of Padiham. He was underway again at 6am this morning – it’s nearly 400 km to go and he could make it today, although it is rather rainy but at least the wind is from the SW.
On his way north again
