Beatrice starts autumn migration

This morning Beatrice went to the River Findhorn, possibly to fish as by midday she was heading south on her migration. At 2om she was at LochMuick, east of Lochnagar, as usual avoiding an over flight of the Cairngorm mountains. She flew down to Alyth and then SW to Methven in Perthshire where she roosted in a tree in a clear fell after a flight of 99 miles.  August 8th - first day's migration
