Aigan had flown south of the lake by 0800GMT and crossed Arcachon Bay an hour later, and then flew down through France before stopping on the River Ardour (well downstream of Beatrice’s stopover location) at 1400hrs and then moved down river to roost for the night near Port de Lanne after 188 km flight.
