Beatrice wandered along the River Loire on 31st March after a few slow days and roosted that night near Anger. On 1st April she headed strongly north before 0900GMT and by 1400hrs was flying up west side of Cherbourg Peninsula.She settled for the night near Saint-Lo-d’Ourville after a flight of 236 km.
