Very successful summer

Beatrice has had a successful summer and reared three young, which flew 2 weeks ago. She started to fly to her old haunts on the River Avon – a tributary of the River Spey – for short visits. On 30th July she did not return to her eyrie but roosted near the River Spey upstream from Knockando. This may be the start of her move south – leaving her mate to bring all the fish to their three young.
