Fearnan

 Introduction

Fearnan is a male golden eagle that was fitted with a satellite transmitter as a chick in 2011.  To view further details about his movements and history click on his link on the left.

Fearnan illegally killed

The satellite tracking data showed us that Fearnan stopped moving on 21st/22nd November. The GPS data was sent to Police Scotland and they recovered the body, which was found to have been illegally poisoning following tests at a government laboratory.  See main page and my blog for more information on this appalling crime against wildlife.  Apologies to regulalr visitors to this page for not updating Fearnan’s page, but as soon as illegal activity is suspected we abide by police wishes to keep information confidential so that they can carry out their investigations and hopefully bring the poisoner and the estate to court.
