Ranging in Sutherland

On 23rd July Suilven flew north to Inverpolly and next day passed her natal haunts on the way to Kylesku. On 26th July flew east to the south Altnaharra moorlands before flying on 28th to Loch Choire

Roxy remains in the same area (13 square km) of the Borders – we are starting to think that ‘he’ may in fact be a ‘she’, which would be good for a single male in the same general area.

Reay stayed in the same area of moorlands to the east of Rhidorroch

West to Loch Ericht

Fearnan remained in Meall Cuaich area unti 19th July, and then flew west to live around Loch Ericht

North to Loch Luichart

106 remained at Glenfeshie to 22nd and then moved to Glen Tromie and Cuaich. On 25th July flew north to Loch Ness and Mealfuorvonie, and next day continued north to Loch Luichart by evening.

July 21st to 26th

NW Sutherland

Canisp returned to the Tongue region, ranging quite widely, before flying to Cape Wrath side on 24th and still there on 28th July

Fearnan was arnging in Glenfeshie to Gaick, and then on 12th to 18th was in west Gaick

Moving slowly west from Loch an daimh to north Rhiddoroch

Short trip to North Caithness and back

106 continues to live in Flows on Caithness and Sutherland border; he flew north to the Forsinaird and then on 24th went north nearly to the coast west of Reay before turning into Strathhalladale. He then flew back to the Morven area.

Ranged the Dulnain catchment

Fearnan ranged from the Newtonmore hills east to Kinveachy Forest and spent his time in the catchment of the River Dulnain.
