She was away before 7am and by 9am was flying north near Barnard Castle. Two hours later she was near Corbridge and crossed the Scottish Border near Windy Gyle, and was over Yetholm at 1pm. She then headed NNW and crossed the Firth of Forth from Gullane to East Wemyss and not long afterwards settled to roost for the night in a wooded hillside overlooking the River Tay near Abernethy in Fife.
North through Midlands
Green J was flying north near Nottingham at 9am and two hours later was just SE of Leeds. At 2pm she was heading for Gouthwaite Reservoir and two hours later perched beside it, so she probably fished there. That evening she roosted in woods south of Pately Bridge. Her day’s flight was 182km

On the 9th April she flew 215km through France and roosted overnight in a wood near Saint-Mars-la-Jaille. On 10th she was away early and at 1100GMT was flying north to east of Rennes. Her direct route took her to the Cherbourg Penisula and she departed the NE corner just after 1500GMT. Her next two plots were over the Channel flying north at 50kph. She came ashore over Shanklin just before 7pm and soon she was roosting for the night in a wood south of Havenstreet on the Isle of Wight, east of Newport. This morning she was away early and by 7am had covered 26km and was flying north to the north of Wickham in Hampshire. Weather today a bit unsettled so she might not cover a big distance.
