Mackay started the month of July on Glenfeshie estate and them flew east to Braemar on 8th and 9th July, then north to Ben Avon and on to Inchrory. On the 14th flew south to Angus glens and was near Mount Battock on 14th to 18th July. Then moved to the Angus march north of Glen Clova to 25th of July and on the 28th flew north-west over Braemar to spend the last days of July on Abernethy Forest reserve.

Range in July

Mackay has been ranging widely as usual in the Cairngorms National Park from the Angus glens north to Abernethy nature reserve on June 7th – 8th – just north of Bynack More

May 12th – June 9th

Mackay ranged widely again over the Cairngorms National Park,  Aberdeenshire and down into Angus. On 2nd April she was in Inchrory, and then roosted on Abernethy reserve on 8th/9th of April, on the 11th she was at the edge of the Glenfeshie, on the 21st in Glen Tanar and on the 22nd right back down in Angus at Glen Markie. During April she ranged over 1600 km².

April 1st – 24th

Mackay ranged over an area of 2200 km², with a big loop on March 19 when he was west to Cuaich near Dalwhinnie and later in the day flew over Ord Ban close to Loch an Eilein in Rothiemurchus. On 27th of March he was in Aberdeenshire near Clachnaben, then to Glen Markie in Angus on 1st April and next day in Inchrory

March 14th to April 4th

Mackay has ranged over an area of 1400 km² in the southern part of the Cairngorms National Park.

February 2oth – March 13th

Mackay has ranged over 1271 square km in February – mainly Invermuick and Glentanar, but Glencat on 11th, Glenfeshie march on 13th and then Glenmarkie/Corwharn on 15th.

February 4th to 25th

Mackay was west of Braemar on 20th January and then moved to usual areas south of Ballater to top of Glen Clova

Mackay is in her usual areas being on Inveresk 19th December and Invermuick on 27th December.
