Rotheimurchus  has roosted on most recent nights to the east of the main wetland.

Rothiemurchus is living at usual winter site but spending a

bit more time in marsh on east side, with a range of 1.13 square km

Rothiemurchus settled in usual haunt in an area of 0.9 square km.  I have been for a week ospreying with the Rutland Water osprey project in The Gambia but there was no time to make the difficult journey to look for Rothiemurchus.

Rothiemurchus remains in the same wintering area although in the last 10 days has extended his range slightly both to the North and South banks of the waterway – flying distance of 1.9 km.

December 12th to 25th

Rothiemurchus is same location but on four nights he roosted in big trees in aarea SW of the water. Living in an area of just over one squre km.

Rothiemurchus is very settled in centre of usual wintering site  – second half of November to 29th was within an area of only 0.24 square km

Rothiemurchus has settled down in his favorite site and was living within an area of  half a squre kilometre to 8th November

Rothiemurchus is now well settled in his wintering quarters and his ranging has been within an area of  0.5 km² with the exception of the flight northeast of 6 km on 28th October.
