Loyal flew south from Caithness on February 11th and roosted west of Craiggie and next day flew north to Badanloch area; then back to an area north of Scibberscross to the 15th before flying back to the Caithness flow country.

Wandering widely

Globe has wandered in a range of 1140 square km in February – north of Ben Dearg on 4th and back again on 23rd, at Kylesku on 10th February. On 22nd she flew from Coigach across the seas to the Scoraig peninsula and then roosted NE of Beinn Ghobhlach.

Maybe settling down

Canisp has spent February mainly in the Foinavon SPA in NW Sutherland – between Cranstackie and Meall Horn.

Calluna remains settled in the North Angus glens – I hope she is paired up and thinking about breeding.

Brodie continues to live in the catchment of the upper Dulnan River – obviously an excellent area for younger eagles. One trip and back to the Alvie pinewood on 20th February.

Agnes was over Dundregan on 10th February, Glen Orrin on 13th, Strathconon and Monar on the 14th and west of Affric on the 15th; some time after that she returned to Coignafearn where she was on the 21st to 24th February, often near a nest I built some years ago.

Roxy has started to spend more time close to the nesting site – hopefully she will be successful this coming season

At Coignafearn

Orla has spent most of the time on Coignafearn but transmitter has not been giving GPS data because of shortage of sunlight.
